A very London story
I came to London at 13 from Nigeria. Built a business from an East London council flat with help of the Prince's Trust. Grew from four to 70 employees in ten years.
I know what it is like to be priced out of London, and what it means to have the opportunity to move back decades later. I have built a business from the ground up with the help of the Prince's Trust in my early 20s, and cut crime as a Police and Crime Commissioner.
I am ambitious for London and want to restore the social contract between our city and the people who make it work: so if you work hard and contribute, you should be able to afford to build a life and stay here, feel safe living and working here, and have the opportunity to succeed wherever in London you call home.
